Newquay CSO

Newquay CSO

The site was located on the foreshore at New Quay in Ceredigion which lies on the southern coastline of Cardigan Bay. Kaymac Marine and Civil Engineering Ltd were commissioned by the Principle Contractor, Morrison Construction, to break out approximately 140m of the existing redundant 250mm cast iron CSO overflow pipe from the masonry holding tank at the west side of the beach area to the outfall termination point, and to replace this with a new 450mm diameter HDPE pipe to discharge into the sea below Mean Low Water Spring Tide.
