Carrington Fluvial Erosion Project

Carrington Fluvial Erosion Project

Commissioned by Morgan Sindall, Kaymac co-ordinated the design and installation of a scour protection solution that would protect the existing National Grid high voltage overhead tower from erosion and subsequent collapse through the flows of the River Mersey. The project involved the placing of approximately 6000t of D50 rock armour within and along the banks of the River Mersey.
