Following Dean & Dyball's construction of Tenby's new Lifeboat Station, Kaymac were contracted by Royal Haskoning to install a system to encase the lower sections of the station's piles as they had become subject to marine encrustation.

Kaymac worked closely with Winn & Coales of London who recommended the use of their Denso Seashield 500 system to provide the necessary long term protection.

The affected piles were identified and their circumferences measured, later the affected areas were cleared of encrustation and the surfaces were prepared before applying the Seashield 500 system.
