Kaymac Marine & Civil Engineering Ltd are a multi-award-winning specialist Marine and Civil Engineering Contractors with an outstanding track record of excellence, innovation and safety.

Kaymac is a family business that started out in Swansea solely as a diving contractor in 1976; we are now one of the largest specialists commercial Diving and Marine Civil engineering contractors in UK. We have offices in Swansea, Bristol, and Kent with an impressive number of Public and Private sector clients Nationwide.

Since the beginning, we have sourced and trialled new technologies and innovative methods to ensure that we have the safest, most productive and cost-effective ways of managing difficult marine civil engineering projects; even highly regulated and time-sensitive ones.

Having proven success and demonstrated continuous commitment to being at the forefront of developments in this discipline we can guarantee the best results for clients. Our talented in-house chartered civil engineers, planners, commercial divers and skilled civil operatives form a team with extensive knowledge and experience that deliver a safe, timely and professional service.

Operating nationally, we supply specialist services to a number of industries including Rail, Water utility, Local Authorities, Marine Ports and Harbours, Nuclear Power Stations, and environmental bodies including the Environment Agency and Natural Resource Wales.

We are leaders in the fields of specialist sub-sea marine engineering in Wales and England. With over four decades of experience, our specialist involvement is widely acknowledged by our clients.

Our mission is to provide our clients with the best possible cost-effective solution and deliver a professional and quality specialist service, whilst being sustainable and fully committed to the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, clients and the environment.  

Our core values are that we invest in our people whilst providing a diverse, inclusive & collaborative working environment. We know that we can guarantee continuity in expert project delivery and best practices, because we are proud of our training and development program that is fully funded by us. We were accredited with Investors in People in 1996 as a result of our continued commitment to investing in our workforce.

Accreditation’s, Certifications and Memberships

The company became Link-up Approved in 2003, we have maintained RISQS approved to this day, the majority of our employees are trained for work on the railways. We currently have 34 directly employed personnel who hold a PTS qualification for work on Network Rail infrastructure and are sponsored by the Company with the NCCA.

The Company was a founder member of the Association of Diving Contractors and has continued as a member for many years. In 1996 we were accredited with Investors in People as a result of our continued commitment to training of staff and personnel.

From 2002 onwards we registered with Constructionline, achieving and maintaining a Gold award, the UK’s register of pre-qualified construction services. In May 2003, we gained BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and currently maintain BS EN 9001:2015, BS EN 14001:2015 and ISO95000 accreditations for the Supply of Diving and Marine Engineering. We also hold Chas, Safecontractor, Investors in people, UVDB and Building Confidence.

As our civil engineering business increased, a decision was made to become affiliated to a respected civil association, and in 2004 we became a member of The Civil Engineering Contractors Association, which boasts some of the biggest names in civil engineering as its associate members.
